Atmosphere, every place has its own
There is something in the air of every city that cannot be impersonated. Every place has its own aura, a character that’s been built through the seasons and the people who animated its soul. It has a particular smell only your memory can recall, a set of colors only your eyes can witness, a harmony of sounds only your ears will upgrade to symphony; it provides flavors only your gustatory sense will remember, it embodies a whole spirit that only your skin can feel as you walk through its air. An atmosphere, every place has its own and I write about the ones I’ve been lucky to experience.
There’s always more to discover if you’re ready to move forward to your dreams
As a travelholic, I’ve always been amazed by how every spot in the world is unique and has something to teach you. But I’ve always wondered: “How can I make sure I’ll forever remember what this new landscape is telling me, or what this city is teaching me?” Like the persons I’ve deeply loved, I felt the need to keep every memory close to me. I started to listen more and observe better in an effort to let the atmosphere of every place sink in my mind. As a passionate photographer, taking pictures helped me in this process. Writing, another of my hobbies, guided me in translating this recollection of feelings and images into words. I thought there was a kind of beauty in finding a way to share something the others could relate to as well as I do.
I hope I’ll help your imagination by bringing a little poetry to your daily life; that if you get an idea of what it feels like to be here and there, you’ll be willing to discover more and dream bigger!
I am a Senior Analyst in Digital Marketing with a focus on search engine marketing (SEM) based in NYC. Before my career in digital marketing, I graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) in Marketing from the University of Manchester, UK.
