Late Summer in Barcelona

Barcelona is a living canvas, a form of art itself. Every building has a poetic story, and every park smells like fresh watercolor paint. The leaves are still green but you can feel the air is changing, losing its warmth and getting ready for fall to come. Dusk is tainted with subdued red and yellow halos, getting richer and deeper in color as autumn slowly takes over.

I remember walking down the pavement of the old town, weaving between tourists and locals looking for a hidden place to get tapas and sangria. Roasted garlic, ripe tomatoes, dried ham and simmering paella are completing the scenery of this immersive painting. You want to start dancing in the middle of the street and spin around like a butterfly wandering in thin air. Barcelona is a firework of warmth and bewitchment and you’re the white canvas getting colored by its unique explosion of art.
