The colours of Cascais

Bright saturated colours are standing out from the monochrome light blue sky. Beyond unique, this castle beautifully puts on hues that most of other monuments wouldn’t dare wearing. In perfect harmony, the red tower and the golden facade reminds me of the sun heating up my skin, while every decorated blue tile emphasizes the tint of the sky. On a summer day in Portugal, here I am, wandering in a surrealistic monument that I am sure many rainbows envy deeply.
